Achromatic Waveplates provide a constant phase shift independent of the wavelength of light that is used. This wavelength independence is achieved by using two different crystalline materials to yield quarter- or half-wave retardation over a broad spectral range. The relative shifts in retardation over the wavelength range are balanced between the two birefringent materials used. The flat response of an Achromatic Waveplate is ideal for use with tunable lasers, multiple laser-line systems and other broad spectrum sources.
Designed to be used at an angle of incidence of 0°, changes of ±3° will yield <1% change in the retardance. Waveplates have air spaced construction in a black anodized aluminum housing. This construction ensures excellent transmitted wavefront quality, while minimizing beam deviation and surface reflection losses.

»| We are committed to support a fast delivery to customer.Generally,we can delivery any wavelength for standard size within 10-15days if no stock. |
»| We hold a large stock for most standard size with standard wavelength,it will satisfy most applications and test. Please contact us for checking our stock situation and information. |
»| Custom retardation and size is avaliable upon request, and please advise us your central wavelenght when you order our standard multi order wave plates. |
»| The surface flatness is the reflected wavefront distortion of the surface before coating. |
»| Be sure to wear laser safety goggles when checking optical path and adjusting optical axis. |
